What fish can you catch in Phuket?

Depending on the season and fishing area, you can catch tuna, mahi-mahi, barracuda, trevally, sailfish, grouper and occasionally marlin in Phuket waters.

Most deep sea fishing trips take place around Racha Yai, Racha Noi and offshore reefs in the Andaman Sea.

Best time for fishing in Phuket

Fishing in Phuket is available all year round, but the best conditions for deep sea fishing are usually from November to May, when the sea is calmer and visibility is better.
